I’m Gavin E. Black, and I write fiction built around desire, temptation, complicated men, dangerous chemistry, and the beautifully reckless decisions people make when wanting someone becomes impossible to ignore.
I’ve been writing MM romance and fiction for more than fifteen years. Over that time, my work has moved through contemporary romance, fantasy, paranormal stories, and increasingly into shorter, more intense fiction centred on attraction and intimacy between men.
What interests me most isn’t simply what happens between two characters. It’s everything that happens before it—the hesitation, the obsession, the rationalizing, the fear, the first touch, and that moment when both men realize they’ve gone too far to pretend nothing is happening.
Sometimes the stories are tender.
Sometimes they’re messy.
Sometimes they're dark, impulsive, forbidden, or unapologetically indulgent.
But there is almost always something underneath the desire.
